114th Academic Year President’s Cup Tennis Tournament Competition Rules
Purpose
This tournament is organized to promote wholesome leisure activities, encourage participation in bowling, enhance physical and mental well-being, strengthen interdepartmental sports exchanges, and foster a positive campus sports culture.

Eligibility
Open to all undergraduate and graduate students of Yuan Ze University.
Registration is individual-based.
Events
- Men’s Singles
- Women’s Singles
Registration
- Registration Period: From now until 12:00 PM, April 30, 2026 (late registrations will not be accepted)
- Registration Method: Online registration
Match Format
- Single-elimination tournament
- Matches before the quarterfinals: first to 4 games (tie-break at 4–4)
- Quarterfinals and beyond: first to 6 games (tie-break at 6–6)
- Finals and third-place matches: Advantage (Ad) scoring
- All other matches: No-Ad scoring
- Singles matches will follow official tennis rules.
Competition Rules
- Players must check in 10 minutes before their scheduled match time. Failure to appear within 10 minutes after the match start time will result in forfeiture.
- Participants must bring a valid student ID registered for the current semester for verification.
- Any player found to be ineligible, once reported and verified, will be disqualified.
- Matches are scheduled to avoid class conflicts. Requests to change match times will not be accepted.
- Participants should bring their own racquets or borrow equipment in advance from the Equipment Room on the 1st floor of the Health and Recreation Center.
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each individual event.
